Lying in bed, laptop on sleep mode, screen randomly turns on. I ran a hitmab pro sxan, nothing. Is that normal?

I was looking through control panel installed items, and i come across ‘ExpressVPN’. I open it, and it asks me to hold a 30day free trial. I do so under a fake email, and boom. I have expressvpn. But already I notice something weird. When I have MBAM Vpn, on the network tray icon it said where my location was (like for instance I connected to Paris, it would say Connected to Paris, France.). But on expressvpn, it said something along the lines of “Unknown”. It said there was an update ready and i clicked on it and it sent me to a oage in downloading the uodate or whatever. But I accidentslly clicked on the homepage and it went to “www.get-express-vpn.com“. I know that expressvpn’s website is expressvpn.com,but that was different. Is it normal for expressvpn to be in your already installed stuff?
