Recently I have been torrenting some Linux distributions via the commonly provided torrent links (currently attempting to set up a home server for the first time) and I’m noticing that my computer is no longer able to seed and provide upload to the Linux distributions (currently have torrents for Ubuntu 21.04, Ubuntu 21.04 server, and tails). I previously used malwarebytes premium anti-virus but I switched to bitdefender total security and now qbittorrent can’t seem to finish seeding and contribute to the file upload.
I didn’t change anything else in my pc environment, I was able to seed these files with malwarebytes premium while connected to a NordVPN P2P server. After uninstalling malwarebytes, installing bitdefender, and connecting to another NordVPN P2P server, and a reinstall of qbittorrent, I am now able to download the Linux image files but I can’t seed and upload them anymore. Does bitdefender/bitdefender firewall prevent this from working or did something else change in my pc to cause issues?
